The clients for the company includes Bosch-Rexroth, Flow Serve, DMG Mori, AUMA. They also manufacture and export parts directly to customers in France

The visit was arranged  on 5.5.22. We reached the company at 10 am. We were briefed about the background and how the company grew to the current level.

Detailed explanations were given by Mr. Sunil Kumar, Proprietor of the organisations about various facilities available in the organisations, inspection methods and different types of instruments available, future plan of the organisation.

ON Bangalore.

He did his under graduation in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India.

During his engineering course, he took a keen interest in the philanthropical activities of ISKCON Bangalore and volunteered in many of the social cause initiatives. He also worked as an educator in the GRE department of the Unacademy.com.

After completing his engineering course, he joined AIKYA, the youth initiative of ISKCON Bangalore as an  Executive Campus Connect and later became a presenter.

He has designed and conducted various workshops for students on professional-personal life balance, stress management, life enrichment programs, meditation techniques all on the principles of Bhagavad Gita

Abstract/Snapshot:

Flow of event:  The visit started with PPT presentation at the Akshaya Patra Foundation hall .The session started at 10:15 am with a formal welcome note. Then the facilitator, Sri. Vishnu Ravi took over the session. He started by giving a brief about the Akshaya Patra Foundation and their activities. The foundation aims at working towards “ No child shall be deprived of food and go to bed hungry”. Then he explained how they use Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence as tools to distribute food and also eliminate food wastage. He showed us a small video of how they send meals across to various schools on a daily basis. Then the next segment was on the topic “Setback to comeback”. He spoke about how setbacks can make us self-sabotage and explained different ways how one can overcome setback/failure

Followed by the presentation, all of us were taken to ISKON temple first. After visiting the temple, we were directed towards the Kitchen. We were divided into 2 groups. We were asked to leave our slippers outside and wear a cap covering our hair and thus maintain hygene. The area where the vegetables were cut was shown. We were briefed about the total supply chain process.

We observed that there is a very good coordination between different departments, is helping serve of hot food to school children in time everyday.

Use of  latest IT tools like Artificial Intelligence (AI), to know the correct number of students present on a particular day, so that correct quantity of food reached all schools thus avowing sending excess food, which will be wasted or shortage of food, which leaves few children without any food. The operational activities of preparation of food, transfer of food to vehicles and despatach of food to schools, in a pre-defined path, ensuring on time delivery. The various challenges triggered during the implementation and day to day operation. How solutions were arrived at for each of these problems
