Cultivating next-generation leaders at the intersection of academia and industry — through mentorship, learning & development.
The Centre for case Development was established in March 2023 with a clear aim to support quality case development and promote case-based teaching across disciplines at Ramaiah Institute of Management.
The Centre has evolved as a dedicated academic hub committed to innovative, experiential, and socially conscious education — bridging real-world management challenges with structured classroom learning through the power of cases.
The Centre provides mentoring for faculty and scholars developing original cases, guiding them through research, structure, narrative writing, and pedagogical note preparation for national and international publication.
Regular workshops and seminars on case writing and teaching methodology help build institutional capacity for case-based pedagogy across all management disciplines.
The Centre for case Development maintains a formal academic partnership with Emerald Publishing to strengthen academic rigour, peer review quality, and the global reach of cases authored by MSRIM faculty.
The centre is led by Dr Anita Singh, an accomplished case writer, teacher, and researcher with publications in top-tier outlets like Ivey Publishing. She regularly leads Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and workshops dedicated to mastering case writing and case-based pedagogy. Anita has published research papers in international journals and presented her work at conferences.
