Report on the Activities of the E Cell – Prerana
The Department of Entrepreneurship organises student driven entrepreneurship club called as Prerana. The Year 2022-23 witnessed several events organised through the club.
Initiator event: Lessons from Unorganised sector.
Date : 12th November 2022.
The students of 2nd year PGDM were instructed to visit the unorganised market of sevral market places in Bangalore and explore lesson on product placement, promotion, and people management.

Name of the Event : Panel Discussion on Entrepreneurship Then and Now
Date of the event : February 16th 2023
Agenda : An eminent panel discussed and deliberated on the various developments in the thought and idea of entrepreneurship.
Target audience : PGDM students of second and fourth sem- RIM

Name of the event : Celebration of Women Entrepreneurs
Date of the event : March 7th 2023
Agenda : Posters of lesser known women entrepreneurs were displayed and insights into their journey were shared.

Event 3 :
Name of the event : Vriddhi – Business Idea Contest
Date of the event : April 21st 2023
Agenda : A flagship event aiming to foster and enhance critical thinking and problem solving in the youth of India. Changing the world is a collaborative effort and requires the collective work of individuals, communities, organizations, and governments. Some ideas that have the potential to create significant positive impact on the world include sustainable energy solutions, innovative healthcare technologies, new educational models, equitable economic systems, climate change mitigation strategies, and social justice reforms. This exercise helped to inculcate the entrepreneurial mindset in challengers by urging them to come up with unique and innovative ideas that would be socially beneficial , sustainable and ground breaking.
