The recent Faculty Development Program held on 23rd May 2025 at MSRIM, facilitated by Dr. Sankalp Pratap, Professor at IIT Bombay, who brings deep academic insight and practical experience in challenged traditional teaching methods and explored new ways to connect with today’s learners. From personal storytelling to pop culture integration, faculty learned how to make classrooms more engaging, contextual, and future-ready.
Highlights included:

* Bridging academia with real-world relevance using pop culture & Gen Alpha references
* Hands-on tasks like live parent calls for real-world insight
* Practical tools to improve focus, punctuality, and participation
* A strong call to shift toward experiential, lab-based learning
This Faculty Development Program pushed the boundaries of traditional pedagogy and offered practical, creative tools to make teaching more impactful, relevant, and future-ready. By placing faculty at the center of this shift, the program championed a new era of teaching that is dynamic, contextual, and aligned with the evolving needs of today’s learners and workplaces.
