About The Faculty

With over 15 years of experience in teaching at the Post Graduate Department of Management across various prestigious B-Schools, I specialize in Consumer Behaviour, Retail Management and Services Marketing. I currently hold the position of Senior Assistant Professor in the department of Marketing and International Business and Program Coordinator for the Post Graduate Program in Sports Management. Holding an MBA and MPhil, I am also actively pursuing a PhD in the area of Consumer Behaviour in Retail Environments at VTU.

My research primarily focuses on analysing consumer behaviour within retail settings, and I have presented my work at international conferences in India, Oman, Bahrain and Edinburgh. Additionally, my research has been published in Scopus-indexed journals.

As part of a Faculty Exchange Program, I conducted a session for MBA students at Skyline University College in Sharjah, UAE.

I have also been involved in a consultancy project titled “A Market Survey for Mysore Rosewood Inlay Products and Geographical Indications of Karnataka,” in collaboration with the Department of Industry and Commerce and the Ramaiah Intellectual Property Rights Cell.

Beyond academia, I am a National-level Table Tennis player and have represented Karnataka in national competitions. For my exceptional contribution to sports, I was honoured with the Kempegowda State Award.
