The Ramaiah Japan Centre (RJC) is established at the Ramaiah Institute of Management with the aim of extending global engagements for the Ramaiah Group through collaborative activities with Institutions in Japan, Japanese companies and broaden employment opportunities. The Japan Centre will enable students interested in Japan and JV companies to learn the Japanese language, culture and explore careers in Industry, Research and Higher education.

Ms. Anjana has done a Master’s in Computer Application, is a Japanese language facilitator, consultant by profession, and a classical Bharatanatyam dancer. Having lived in Japan for 5 years, she understands the culture, learned Japanese language, and has cleared the N2 level JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) exam conducted by the Government of Japan.She has been working as a relationship manager at the Indo-Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IJCCI) – Karnataka for more than 12 years. Her passion for Indo-Japan cross-cultural exchange and language has helped her take on responsible roles at IJCCI, such as leading delegations to Japan, organizing events and seminars, and managing Japan Habba — the biggest Indo-Japan cultural fest in India, held in Bangalore. She is serving as vice president of BNK (Bangalore Teachers’ Association), a body responsible for conducting JLPT exams in Bangalore.
In her present role, Anjana is looking forward to leveraging her experience and passion for Japan to build the ‘Japan Centre’ at Ramaiah with the able support from senior management.
