The fest was concluded with Music Delight concert by Black smith “Lohar” Band team a Comrade Events & Production company a vibrant evening to cherish forever. A huge crowd overwhelmed by bright lights and band music. The fest “perceptions” is an Annual National Level Management fest and this year with the theme “Takshak” – A Mega Management festival with 15 grandiose events. Takshak metaphorically symbolizes the kundalini in the chakras. Chakras are the centers of energy that manage the flow throughout the body. The chakras are associated with specific characteristics such as creativity, confidence, and communication, among others. Traits that are essential for managing a successful business. The Perceptions Mega event is supported by corporate sponsors like Red bull (for the energy drink), L-casa, BPCL, Fast track, Abays textiles, Adithya systems… A Preface to the perceptions event literally was the intercollegiate cricket tournament organized on 1st and 2nd of April which witnessed a sizeable participation of 12 teams battling it out under scorching heat. On 11th April 2023, the Inauguration Program a huge gathering with about 400 plus students from close to 50 colleges participated in 14 events. Dr. Manasa Nagabhushanam Director (A, R &; A) explained the role of charkas and how the theme of chakras was being blended with the concepts of management. She urged the gathering to focus on the learning, growth and knowledge enrichment. The Chief Guest of the Inaugural Program was Mr. Kishore B S Co-founder, Stockbyte CEO and Co-founder, Stock Market Institute who inspired the students sharing an anecdote of his own experience emphasized the need to look for opportunities to learn and keep the energy high. Dr. Sachin Mohan faculty coordinator – Perceptions elaborated on the need to be proactive and leaders of change. Prof. Arul Jyothi faculty coordinator – Perceptions, looked after the entire process of the event.
The management functional events of Marketing, Finance HRM, Analytics, Operations, BQuiz Entrepreneurship and Treasure hunt witnessed great participation for their respective events that were carefully planned around the theme of Chakras. The cultural events also had a gallery of talented students showcasing their skill in dance, singing and photography. The valedictory ceremony was graced by Prof. Umamahesh Sathyanarayan, Principal Ramaiah college of law who congratulated all the winners, organizing team for the initiative and success of the fest. The closing remarks was by Dr. Manasa Nagabhushanam Director (A, R &; A), drew attention of the students on the “skill sets” they should attain by citing a story base. There were 15 winners for various events in Perceptions. Certificates and trophies were handed over to all the prize winners of various events by the respected dignitaries. The overall champions of “Takshak” 2023 was R N S Institute of Technology. In the two-day fest an over – whelming response from students was received. The fest has been a platform for students from various reputed Business Schools who had exhibited their potential and expertise in many activities for two days and grabbed prizes. All the participants and guests have appreciated the event with fullzeal.
