National Technology Day is an annual event celebrated in India on May 11th. The day commemorates India’s successful nuclear test in Pokhran in 1998, which showcased India’s technological capabilities to the world. The event also marks the anniversary of the first successful test-firing of the Trishul missile on the same day in 1998.
In essence, National Technology Day promotes the creation of new technologies that can propel the growth and development of the nation while also honouring India’s accomplishments in science and technology.
The Centre for Entrepreneurship of Ramaiah Institute of Management is happy to share the technological prowess of the country by celebrating the unique technological marvels on the occasion of National Technology Day.
We invite all theteaching and non teaching staff members of RIM to "Tea and Tech" - a Poster Exhibition organised in Room 306 at 3.00 PM. Experience the pride of knowing about the achievements of the country in the area of Innovation and Technology while you sip over a cup of tea / or coffee.
There is more ! All staff are also encouraged to take part in a written quiz competition based on today's celebration. Attractive prizes to be won. All participants will receive a participation certificate.
