The Annual Sports Day of our institution was held on 11th & 12th December 2024 with great enthusiasm and excitement. The sports ground wore a festive look with colorful flags, balloons, and banners.
The program began with the welcome ceremony, followed by the hoisting of the sports flag and an impressive march-past by the contingents of various sections. The chief guest of the day, Dr. Arun Kumar, Dean, RIM, formally declared the meet open. In his address, he emphasized the value of sports in shaping character, discipline, and leadership qualities among students. His inspiring words motivated everyone to give their best in all fields of life.
The day was marked by a wide range of track and field events including 100m, 200m, relay races, shot put, discus throw, Cricket, volley ball and throw ball. Students from different sections participated enthusiastically and displayed remarkable athletic skills. The audience encouraged the participants with loud cheers, creating an energetic and competitive atmosphere.
Special attractions such as Table Tennis, Volley ball, throw ball and cricket for teaching and non-teaching staff added fun and excitement. At the end of the events, winners were honored with medals, certificates, and trophies by Dr. Arun Kumar and other dignitaries. The proud moment of the day was when Section F was declared the Overall Champion for securing the highest points across events.
The day concluded with the vote of thanks and the lowering of the sports flag, followed by the National Anthem. The Annual Sports Day 2025 was a resounding success, celebrating the true spirit of sportsmanship, teamwork, and joy.
