Prof. Kiran Kumar K V has 20 years of work experience, comprising 7 years in BFSI and 13 years in academics, research, and consulting. His industry experience is primarily of working with HSBC and the last position held was Associate Vice President in 2012. He currently works as a consultant in finance and FinTech for clients in India, Singapore, USA, Japan, and Myanmar. He also serves as guest faculty at institutions including IIM-Kozhikode, IIT-Patna, Masters Union, Great Lakes Institute of Management, and BITS Pilani WILP, teaching Finance, FinTech, Financial Analytics, and Machine Learning in Finance.
Prof. Kumar earned his Master's degree in Finance from SDM-IMD, Mysore, after graduating with a University Rank in Commerce from University of Mysore. His additional qualifications include a Master's degree in Commerce and certifications in CAIIB (India), CFA (USA), CMA (India), and NCCMP (India). His research appears in Scopus-indexed international journals, including an ABDC publication. He is pursuing a PhD in corporate finance from VTU, Belgaum. Prof. Kumar has conducted numerous MDPs, workshops, and FDPs for corporate and academic institutions.
