Dr. Ekta Yadav is an Assistant Professor of Economics at M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Management. She holds a Ph.D. (submitted) in Applied Economics from the University of Lucknow and is a UGC–JRF awardee in both Economics, Commerce and Management, besides being GATE qualified in Economics.
Her research and teaching lie at the intersection of Demography, Macroeconomics, and Development Economics, focusing on how population ageing, inequality, and institutional factors influence economic growth and sustainability. She employs advanced econometric tools to uncover patterns in India’s developmental and demographic transitions.
Dr. Yadav has presented her work at prestigious conferences such as the Indian Economic Association, IIFT’s Empirical Issues in International Trade and Finance, and the IASSI Annual Conference. Her research has appeared in peer-reviewed and UGC-CARE listed journals, and several of her studies are under review in reputed Scopus and ABDC-indexed journals.
At MSRIM, she teaches Managerial Economics and is deeply involved in mentoring students for academic and research excellence.
A committed educator and researcher, Dr. Yadav strives to bridge economic theory with evidence-based policy insights, contributing to MSRIM’s mission of developing analytical, responsible, and globally aware professionals.
