Dr. P. Bhanumathi has been the Controller of Examinations (CoE) at Ramaiah Institute of Management, Bangalore, since October 9, 2024. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Organizational Behavior (OB) and Human Resource Management (HR). She previously held the position of Head of Academics from June 2023 to October 8, 2024, and served as the Academic Coordinator for the PGDM-AICTE program since June 2016.
Dr. Bhanumathi holds a Ph.D. in Knowledge Management from the University of Mysore, with her thesis focusing on identifying knowledge management enablers and processes in select SMEs around Bangalore. The study proposed a feasible model to enhance organizational performance. She is also a Ph.D. guide at Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences.
She has qualified for the UGC NET and holds an AMT certification from AIMA. With over 18 years of teaching experience and a decade of research expertise, Dr. Bhanumathi has made significant contributions to academia. She has published research papers in peer-reviewed journals, including UGC-listed journals, and has presented at reputed
conferences.
Teaching Portfolio: Dr. Bhanumathi specializes in courses across HR, Operations, Entrepreneurship, and General Management. Professional Engagements: She has participated in workshops organized by leading institutions such as IIM-Bangalore, CII-IQ, CBMS-Bangalore, RPCC, and Jain University. In 2019, she was a reviewer for the book Management Information Systems (11th Edition) by James O’Brien, published by Tata McGraw Hill.
Research Interests: Dr. Bhanumathi’s research interests include Knowledge Management, Artificial Intelligence in HR, Organizational Development, and Strategic HRM, focusing on enhancing organizational performance and innovation.
