Gururaj B Urs is a Professor of OB-HR & Behavioral Science. Presently, he heads the Center for Research along with the Doctoral (PhD) Program and the FPM (Fellow Program in Management) Program at the MS Ramaiah Institute of Management (MSRIM) in Bengaluru.
He has published more than thirty research papers in various peer-reviewed and double-blind journals.
He has completed fifteen research projects and consulting assignments for the World Bank, Plan India, TNHSP, SJHI, and other national organizations. Currently, he is working on a research project for the ICSSR.
He is a Doctoral guide at the University of Mysore (UoM), Mysuru, the Vishveshwariah Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, and the MS Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS), Bengaluru, in HR-OB, Mental Health, and Behavioral Science, along with Inter & Cross disciplinary areas.
He is a Consulting Psychotherapist, conducting Psycho-diagnostics and Psychotherapy for a range of psychological disorders across individual, couple, familial, and group formats. He is an ardent advocate of principles and practices of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences.
He is a trainer/facilitator in the areas of Mentoring/Proctoring, Soft Skills, Learning & Development activities, and Social Science Research.
He holds a Masters and a PhD in OB-HR (Organizational Design & Development) and a Masters, MPhil, and a PhD in Mental Health (Cognitive Behavior Therapy).
