Prof.Sanjay Chari has product management, program management experience of over 30 years in Investment Banking/Capital Markets and other sectors in United States and India. .He was also associated with UBS Investment bank and other leading investment banks , companies like DirectV Broadband-California;-Hedge Funds like SAC Capital Advisors which is a group of Hedge Funds founded by Steven A. Cohen in 1992.( Assets under management: $16 billion -2008).SAC converted its investment operations to the Point72 Asset Management family office in 2014. Point 72 focuses primarily on discretionary long/short equity investing and makes significant quantitative and macro investments and maintains offices in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, London, Boston, and New York. Prof.Chari also is one of the key members of the Consultancy Division at RIM.
