Dr.Jayaseelan holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Pune University, M.Phil  and MBA from Madras University. He is founder consultant of Skillsmith India an international HR outsourcing firm. He was associated with iNurture Education as Academic Head for Marketing, Leadership & Innovation division.

As a faculty of management in Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Pune, he conducted MDPs for middle/senior management executives of Godrej Group, Wipro, John Deere, L&T and consumer behavior study in ITC Personal care products division. He also served as Jury member for L’oreal, Johnson&Johnson and HUL board companies.

He worked with Bayer Consumer care, Philips Lighting & ETV. He started his teaching at India campus of Sprott School of Business, Carleton University, Canada and was associated with institutions such as Lintas-Northpoint center of learning, National Insurance Academy and Kohinoor Business School, Mumbai.

His research publications and working papers are in the area of Marketing Automation, Energy Management, Rural markets, AI and ML.
